Opportunities for Disabled Teens & Young Adults
We're proud to work with Partner's In Adventure,  who has a mission of providing camps and year-round social and recreation programs that partner disabled teens and young-adults with non-disabled peers in northern Vermont.  They offer individuals opportunities to be included as participants in their communities, to enjoy enriching experiences adapted to their specific needs and to learn about tolerance and diversity.  The organization was founded in 1999 and continues to grow.

Burlington Sunrise Rotary partners with PiA in two ways.  First, each year both groups attend a UVM Women's Basketball game together at Patrick Gym.  The game is a blast, letting Rotarians and PiA friends interact, enjoy lunch and simply have fun hanging out together. The UVM women basketballers also graciously meet with us after the game.  Learn more on their official web site and on their Facebook page.

Second, we volunteer for their annual Calcutta Auction (here's a link to the 2018 auction). Steve Gentile lends his velvety smooth voice as the MC, while Joe O. runs the numbers. The event raises crucial funds for PiA's camps and other activities. And everyone has a fun night out.
