This Sunday marked the 12th year of Burlington Sunrise Rotary supporting the Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival. As usual, we supplied dock volunteers to assist boaters and ran our food table to raise funds for Rotary charities.
Steve Gentile, once again, led the Morgan Stanley and Rotary volunteers on the dock, making sure boats left and arrived on time throughout the day.
After a one year hiatus, Alison Davis returned as our leader for the food table, helping to raise ~$900 for Rotary Charities, which include books for VT kids in need (Imagination Library) and Kenyan safe water.
